by Frederik Pohl ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 1, 1968
When Charles Forrester is finally thawed out he's 596 years old, feeling a frisky thirty-seven and worth a cool quarter of a million. The money will last him about a week in a culture jury-rigged for spending. But that's just one of the adjustments to be made in a culture-shock comedy that ends with Charles killing himself (temporarily) to save the system. Pohl is a blithe satirist in this one and it's fun.
