UNDERSEA FLEET

Cadet Jim Eden of the Sub Sea Academy, situated just off Bermuda and operating some years hence, comes in contact with a situation demanding all of his many resources when he meets David Crackens, also a cadet at the academy. David tells him of his father, an inventor who had worked with Jim's dead uncle on some undersea projects. Dr. Cracken now has a domain all his own and in an obsessive search for a sea plant giving off atomic energy, has managed to become a tyrant who rules the lives of the amphibian people and fends off some dreaded saurians who live near by. A four way struggle develops and when Jim, David and the air breathers break the power of suarians, amphibians and Cracken, there is still hope for a more cooperative and peaceful future. Stagey science fiction, garishly improbable and fought with sentiment better left submerged.
