D.R. Philosophy, theology, psychology -- all are merged in a message of spiritual power and worldly understanding and compassion. He makes one feel the all-embracing concept -- so that acceptance of the role of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, enters into marital relations, parental responsibility, sacrifice, the place of woman in the modern world, Mary as the Madonna of the World, not just the Christian World, the value of the Rosary to many groups, the function of the Blessed Mother as intermediary, who had shared with her Son the sacrifice, and finally, the choice before the world today --God or anti-God...Fulton Sheen's name carries the market for this beyond the boundaries of his faith.
