by Harry- Illus. Behn ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 23, 1966
A collection of 42 poems, written and illustrated by the noted juvenile author, compiler and poet. The poems are in simple words and, for the most part, formal rhyme and meter. But they don't always rhyme, and the ones that don't are the ones that seem most successful in evoking a lingering image. The illustrations are decorative sketches in black and white. Altogether, it makes for good browsing and a good guide in personal efforts for this age group.
