KIRKUS REVIEW

Excellent factual material about small fishes by the former chief aquarist of the New York Aquarium. She divides the fish of which she writes into fish of the big aquarium, fish of the pond, fish of the small home aquarium, fish of the seashore. Brief ""stories"" with surprisingly dramatic and vivid glimpses of fish family life, appearance, the young, etc.
