OUR AIRLINERS

Good factual background of modernaviation, of the technical, practical and adventure sides of the picture. A book that makes all fictional treatment of modern aviation more understandable, and that should have some vocational value as well. Takes more than simply the planes themselves (in fact, I think it is rather inadequate on that score. But on the matters of airports, of radio, of ground work,of the vast network of check and double check for safety, of weather reports, etc. etc. Irving Crump has filled in bits of necessary knowledge.
