PETER PAN

A lovely new edition of the famous story -- written after the play (which is now appearing on Broadway). The story is carried beyond the action of the play as Mrs. Darling is disposed of in a sentence, Wendy grows up, marries and has a daughter who takes care of Peter's spring house cleaning now that Wendy has become caught up in the tragic earth-bound disenchantment of adulthood. And Wendy's daughter, too, grows up and has a daughter who visits Peter in Neverland -- ""and thus it will go on, so long as children are gay and innocent and heartless"".
