THE COMPLETE BOOK OF RUNNING

For the multitude of scantily clad sprinters who love to read about their current passion, here's another running encyclopedia, and this one's the most detailed yet. Warm-up exercises, stress tests, what to do about soreness (it's still liniment and hot baths), how to run in the dark, psychological benefits (surges of joy and increased serf-esteem), where to find Adidas sneakers wherever you are, stretching exercises and incredibly ugly illustrations, one of a plate of spaghetti (the point being that running makes you lose weight even though you require more carbohydrates for energy). Everything but dash.
