KIRKUS REVIEW

In 1968 there were some 650,000 snowmobiles ploughing their way across America, double the number in '67. This is a competent introduction to the sport and it gives detailed information on types and manufacture, care, repair and maintenance, driving rules and regulations, how to sit, start, sway and where the racing action is. There's even a state by state breakdown of existing legislation. Snowmobiles are now being used in rescue operations, for hunting, fishing and camping out . . . they've even been to the North Pole. So trade in your old dog sled and 23 Ski-Doo . . .
