CHRIS TURNER, MAGICIAN

Pulling rabbits out of hats is eleven year old Chris Turner's ambition and his small town adventures with the Great Gaston, a TV showman, make a sparky boy's story. Starting out with home grown equipment-coins, cards, match sticks etc. Chris soon graduates to a magic set and puts on his own backyard performance. The climax comes with Gaston who comes to town to give a show and honors Chris with a place in it. And- home problems, school problems and a mystery to solve on the side- make the story more than one dimensional.
