BERTIE ON THE BEACH

A wisp of an episode at an English Victorian beach--as little Berrie (striped bathing outfit, blond curls, big straw hat) gets shunted around and then gets off by himself, gets a look at the circus, and imagines himself the star of all the acts. When one of the clowns brings him back, the best his father can say is, ""Well, I'm glad they kept you out of mischief"" Exept for the old-time seaside and circus pictures, pretty fiat (and slightly precious) all the way through.
