KIRKUS REVIEW

Tart Miss Olivia presiding over and interfering in some romantic situations in Witherspoon, Georgia, proves once again an unconquerable force. Her benevolent despotism centers on Tom, her great nephew, who returns from Korea- on his back-to the (s)mothering of Owen which is more likely to kill than cure. Miss Olivia uses the wedding she has arranged as a cover for Tom's kidnapping- on a stretcher, has the girl he loves in attendance as a nurse, and arouses his anger sufficiently to put him back on his feet and in the arms of Kelly Dare... Home style.
