by Joanna Barnes ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 20, 1968
Another chatty, pleasant, friendly collection of hints, tips, and ideas which dips lightly into all the decorating problems--planning for space and function; the big three (walls, floors and essential furniture); curtains, lighting and incidental furniture, color and fabrics. Fortunately the author follows the new soft line in decorating--keep family usage ever in mind--but the reader of the generally high quality home decorator sections in women's magazines will find nothing particularly new. Run of the mill ends.
