. . . and again and again and again. Of course Tom does lend his brain to a good cause now and then; here he catches the Indian agent who's been swindling the local Pa-Roos-Its band by writing to President McKinley. Tom is less lucky when he tries to scare fat Herby Sties out of his greedy gut tendencies (for a promised 10¢ a pound) and sends Herbie to the hospital instead, but he does trick older brother Sweyn into giving up his dude clothes. Even Tom seems to be running low on classic tricks like the Buried Treasure ruse for getting the garden spaded, though a great brain powered by a money-loving heart never really stops working.
