THE SCANDALWAGONS OF OZ

Ersatz goods, these fabrications founded on and continuing the famous Oz stories by Frank Baum. Sorry, I can't take them, with their puns and plays on words, their smart-aleckyness and far-fetched complications, which carry, to my way of thinking, nothing of true fantasy. There's a modern twist to them that may intrigue some youngsters, and undoubtedly they continue to be good merchandise. This new volume tells further adventures of some of the old friends, introduces some new ones, and starts off with an invention of the ""scandalwagons"", the wizard's new vehicles.
