KIRKUS REVIEW

Tough, fast, slick -- and swell reading in its field. Two deaths by carbon monoxide result in employing a private dick. He brings along the girl friend as camouflage, takes a job in the refrigerating plant, and both of them do a bit of fast work, hit the high spots, help organize a raid against gangsters and get their man.
