by Samuel French Morse ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 19, 1970
An evanescent counting book in which ""the sun and you/ make two,"" a cedar tree and ""a wave along shore"" make three and four. . . and so on, sea-quentially, up to ten (the dog ""ready for tricks. . . makes us six./ A stick you can throw/ And he'll fetch makes seven""). Whereupon each melts away one by one in the fog, ""And the fog is nothing at all."" Rolling verses and glinting, darting, adumbrating brushstrokes though it doesn't quite figure for adding or subtracting.
