A IS FOR ANYTHING

Though the unusual old fashioned letters are interesting to adults, their strange positions and shaping may tend to confuse the youngsters just learning their ABCs. The short verse introducing each letter also deals with matters outside their understanding and the illustrations, dominated by a gremlin-like figure, have a certain subtle appeal, but again not for the very young. Adults seriously interested in escorting the child down the 26 letter path would do well to consult more suitable material.
