by Keith Laumer ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 1, 1971
Laumer at the console of the mighty transporter again, spot-beaming feckless but likable Lafayette O'Leary (The World Shuffler, 1970) in and out of bodies within the kingdom of Artesia (Psychic Energies had wafted him there some years before). O'Leary who is also in and out of ladies' chambers (or nests, since one transmigration involves wings) aids in quashing a coup by a ""Central Agency"" defector, and is reunited with a confused Daphne, his wife. Weightless frivolity but ship-shape throughout.
