Poor butterfly--actually she's the daughter of a rich magnate--is floating on STP, hovering above the Haight-Ashbury area when last seen, and Max Roper is hired to find her. This then takes a fast skid around the scene which includes Hell's Angels and hippies and her Mexican roommate (pushing drugs), and her Berkeley student leader boyfriend and a guru, etc., etc. Mr. Platt's first entry at this level is very active--""almost like wow"" and definitely like good.
