First with limitations acknowledged in the mystery category. But size it situation- the Louvre is given a priceless gift, the apparently missing arms of the famous Venus. That a third arm turns up, that restorations is dead-violently, and his studio gutted; that a top man at the Louvire approaches solution with the elevation of Claude, who had firm in the authentically of the arms-all this and more adds up to breathless suspense, to romance, and a too pat solution.
