The illustrations for this and Pompom by Rojan are perfectly delightful. Eight little ducks and how they grew -- to the exciting day when Plouf joins the wild ducks and flies south. Even less story than Pompom and one regrets the intimacy of the French version could not be kept in English. But both are most attractive books.
