ITTERSWEET SUMMER

Another teen romance by the author of A Year to Remember. Daphne Bridges spends her last summer before entering college working as a waitress at the Triangle X dude ranch and finds that she is strongly attracted to Cliff Lincoln, a rugged wrangler. As the summer develops, however, Daphne discovers just how divergent their standards, attitudes and personalities are, and she finds herself much more strongly to a young English visitor who shares her ideas about behavior. There is a variety of characters at the ranch, all with well-defined personalities, and Daphne's problems are handled with sophistication and in depth. A little new life has been brought into this weary old story.
