KIRKUS REVIEW

Hugh, Susan and Martin MacAlister and their tutor, Roddy Burke, go backward in time to Celtic Britain with Cymbel, a wanderer on the Scottish highlands. He, they discover, is in reality a young prince of the Catuvellanl. The MacAlister children try the customs of another age and roam their own area when chariots were used. More a trip-through-time than science fiction, interest here would be confined to those who enjoy following flights of fancy outward in space or backward in time.
