IN WOODS AND FIELDS

This handbook of nature study offers a casual and delightful approach to nature walks. Grouped by seasons in which the animals, birds, insects, and flowers may best be seen, the brief paragraphs about the appearance and activities of the animals and the locals of the plants are simply and lucidly written. The drawings that accompany the text are delicate and detailed too bas they are in color! However, this is still a good buy. There should be some demand for the paper edition from summer camps and schools.
