GREEN GROWS THE GARDEN

Here's the third garden book, placed in this group because it seems to me to be a supplement to such a book as The Gardener's First Year (above), an inspirational book salted with a few important facts, but not a book to build a garden on, without some more practical help. Material based almost wholly on the author's own experiences with a cottage garden. Delightfully done -- in her always charming manner. It makes one want to have a garden.
