REFINING FELICITY

The first of six in a welcome new series--as the best of the Regency writers again offers an amusing merry-go-round of a tale: here, a charming duo--the Tribble sisters, elderly spinsters Amy and Effie--hire themselves out as chaperones to teach ""the art of being a lady"" to one Felicity Baronsheath, a stunning beauty and a stunning pain, as wild and undisciplined as the Marquess of Ravenswood is cool, reserved, and seemingly uninterested. As the taming of Felicity gets underway, there are all the usuals--the Other Woman, the eager young suitor who seems to be an obstacle to Tree Romance--before the suitably happy close. For fans of the genre, then, more thoroughly engaging entertainment.
