KNAVE OF DIAMONDS

Sleight-of-hand entertainment in the story of Peter, aristocrat, Social Register, and scholar, clever and mercurial, who uses his talents for legerdemain in the role of a Robin Hood rogue. Attracted by a cause, he robs the vulgar rich to establish funds to send chosen poor boys to college, and is suspected by Saunders of the Police. Saunders almost catches him but Peter turns the tables. A bit of romance for a subplot. Slim, but readable and rentable.
