DOBRY

The author of California Fairy Tales has told in Dobry a realistic story of a Bulgarian peasant lad who turned his back on the farming of his people, and went away to be a sculptor. There's the real feel of the land in the story, through the character of the old grandfather. Very interesting illustrations by Atanas Katchamakoff, himself a well known sculptor.
