by Norman Vincent Peale ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
The revision of Dr. Peale's best seller contains the same basic messages and techniques as the former volume, but the illustrations, anecdotes and experiences are all aimed at the needs and problems of teen-agers. The assumption is that they need the same kind of message as their elders; that teen agers want to be popular, esteemed, to have a sense of achievement and to really enjoy living, freed of fear and inferiority complexes. One misses any clarion call to service, any expression of concern for the state of the world or other people- but there was none of this in the earlier volume either, and 800,000 copies have been sold. So look for a big demand here too, as publishers are launching a big sales campaign.
