by Owen Francis Dudley ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 1, 1949
This is a forthright and direct appeal to non-believers to embrace the Catholic faith. It proceeds from the assumption that without a renewal of moral and spiritual foundations our civilization is doomed. It then presents the faith of the Roman Catholic Church as the only answer to the need of the individual and of the world. In the course of his argument, the author deals with the criticisms often made of that Church and its faith, and gives a clear unequivocal exposition of what the Church does teach and why. This is vigorous, arresting writing which should be effective for its purpose, which is to bear witness to the truth of the Catholic faith.
