THE MOST OF P.G. WODEHOUSE

This omnium gatherum is made up of one full length novel, Quick Service, and over three dozen short stories and should be a great assist in comforting his ever-demanding public, which may have missed some- (it wouldn't be possible to have missed all)- of the selections. From his 50 years of writing come old, familiar faces-Bertie Wooster and Jeeves, the irrepressible tribe of Mulliners, the opportunist, and unlucky, Ukbridge, the love lorn Bingo (who finally does get married and is still pursued by trouble), Lord Emsworth and The Pigs, the Oldest Member and his tales of golf, and the hard pressed members of the Drones' Club. Engagements are on --and off -- and on again; there's a sermon handicap and other areas of betting; there is Ukbridge's dog college and his accident syndicate while the Mulliners come forth with Back U-Uppo and Reduc-o; and there never is a quiet moment with a girl. A happy revival.
