THE COUNTRY OF AGAIN

Country of Again is a circumspect, Civilized reprise--something of a slow take for your more extroverted readers in the terrain of suspense Mr. Hubbard so quietly travels. This one simply, really not so simply, covers Jim Gilruth's return to Pakistan where he had served twenty years ago as a government administrator and presided over a local murder case proceeding, and Where now he is to be instrumental in Securing some land for industrial development. The revanchist killing which takes place sends him back to England with residual doubts, having temporized, abdicated for a second time. Very different and highly accomplished.
