IVANHOE KEELER

A picture of life in the mid-19th century, of expanding frontiers and fast changing fortunes in the story of Ivanhoe Keeler. Apparently everything Ivanhoe touched turned to gold, but every affair he had left him with a broken heart. Of travels here and abroad, until his return to Iowa where he settled down to a richer life and where he at last finds true love. Entertaining enough story, but it lacks the vigor and authenticity of Buckskin Breeches.
