by Polly Webster ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 6, 1949
A memory book- styled 1949- and definitely keyed to Junior High rather than upper teens. A book for keeping personal records, items of factual interest, ideas, aspirations and dreams. Family records -- for those who care, and at that age I doubt their very great number. School records and goals. Finances. Interests. Fads. Sports. Heart throbs. Books read. Movies seen. Food. Clothes. Radio and television programs. Parties. There is space for very little ebullient overflow, but the suggestions for analyzing your own personality, charting your potentialities, watching your development over three years of comparative records may hold the germ of an idea that is constructive. The book is studded with quotations, unfortunately often inaccurate.
