KIRKUS REVIEW

Here is a particularly whimsical menage of ghosts; refugees from a ""wicked"" Irish castle who come to live in an American development. The three little ghosts discover the secret of visibility while munching marshmallows in a super market, and from that moment on their ghost-aunt is a most harassed spirit. Unusually imaginative both in story and in illustrations (pictures by Louis Slobodkin), this is just about the nicest trick and treat we've seen in a full moon.
