KIRKUS REVIEW

Adherents of the capsule school of education may find importance in this mild little picture quiz book on birds, animals, locomotives, bridges, cars, and so on. But to us it seems scrappy and fragmentary, of very ephemeral interest, adding up to almost nothing. The quizzes appeared originally in This Week, where their shot-in-the-arm, single sentence form, had point. In book form, they don't measure up. The publishers indicate it for teen agers. We'd place it at the acquisitive 8-10 level.
