KIRKUS REVIEW

Michael, returning from the Pacific with the pinup picture with which he had fallen in love, finds her materialization in a courtroom where- accused of the murder of her aunt- Lorelei is acquitted. Marrying her, still on face value, his suspicions of Lorelei mount, his fears for his own life increase as two attempts are made against it, until- from the three older people who control her- evidence against one is attained.... Easy to read, hard to believe.
