THE COMPLETE MOTORCYCLE NOMAD: How and Why to Travel

Assuming ""complete innocence"" on the reader's part and ""complete omnipotence"" on his, Lovin offers method to the madness of motorcycling. What factors should be considered in the choice of a bike, accessories, and clothing? What tools should be kept at hand? If an accident is unavoidable, what fall, slide, and collision techniques can be employed to escape injury? What medical equipment should be carried? The chapters on bikes and riding are thorough, with the exception of one on troubleshooting, which assumes more than innocence on the part of the reader. The others, detailing the tricks of the nomadic trade such as crashing, finding odd jobs, dealing with the police, are something less than complete.
