ROBERT'S RESCUED RAILWAY

A hundred-year-old Welsh railway is about to be demolished, now that it no longer serves the practical purpose of carrying slate over a short but colorful route. Eleven-year-old Robert, son of the engineer, enlists the help of a stranger in his fight to preserve the Honeysuckle line. Ingenuity and dedication triumph, but not until Robert and his friends have gone through many exciting ordeals. A good story, warmly told, which introduces the American reader to many interesting details of Welsh life.
