FROM AMBLEDEE TO ZUMBLEDEE: An ABC of Rather Special Bugs

The rather special bugs are creatures of fancy with little foundation in entomology: ""A tidy buglet is the OOTH;/ He's very dignified and couth./ `The children laugh and play! Forsooth,'/ He says, `Twas not so in my youth!'"" Admittedly this is one of the lesser specimens but most of them sacrifice sense -- even nonsense -- to the rhyme scheme. The sketches are sometimes amusing, sometimes confusing. For alphabet zip, better look to your Lears.
