THE FIRST BOOK OF THE EARTH

Ignore the first book title connotation and accept this as a scholarly presentation of the origin and geology of our planet and it is very worth while. Boys and girls in fourth, fifth and sixth grade will learn about the earth's atmosphere, the causes of volcanos, goysers, rock and mountain formation from a text which is not easy reading and from pictures which are instructive. The text is clear for upper elementary children and the layout and diagrams are strikingly informative.
