ANTIQUE CAR MODELS

With a short history of each car and its maker, Ross gives directions for making realistic models of four antique autos: a 1902 curved-dash Olds, a 1909 Waverly Stanhope Electric, a 1911 Stanley Steamer, and a 1918 Chevrolet. Basic materials are rigid cardboard and construction paper; the directions are broken down into the minutest component parts (running boards, running board brackets, taillight, rear motor wall, gas tank covering, axles, horn, windshield light, etc.); and Ross includes a photo and about 25-to-40 line-and-arrow diagrams for each model.
