When Mole finds a four-leaf clover and wishes, in Troll's presence, for someone to stroll with him, tell him when his fur needs combing, bring him dandelion tea when he's sick and honey sandwiches when he's sad--the surprise would be if Troll didn't assure him that he already had such a friend: ""You have me, Mole."" The other episodes are similarly soft, with Mole sending Troll home in the rain and later regretting it, Mole helping to pull Troll's loose tooth, and Troll succumbing to fear of the ordinary night noises he's been reassuring Mole about. It's all just what you'd expect from a winsome troll.
