by Ursula Orange ‧ RELEASE DATE: Feb. 16, 1938
An amusing novel, with charm, humor, astuteness and the facility that characterizes English light fiction. But as a novel it doesn't quite go beyond a group of incidents, fitting together to tell the story of rebellious but immature Sandra, down from Oxford for accidental misconduct, and attaching herself to any available radical movement. She shifts from the man she loves to another and back again and eventually stays by the one who needs her more than the one she needs. And she makes a success of her marriage.
