There are no books as popular in our family as the Freddy ones, we have read them all aloud en famille, they solve that awful problem of what will hold the attention of a group ranging in ages from six to eighty, all giggle and want more! There has not been time to try this one as yet but there is no question that it will be a success for it was even fun to read to myself. Here Freddy gets into a fine pickle because he goes up in a balloon at the Fair along with Emma and Alice, the ducks, and Mr. and Mrs. Webb, the wonderful spider couple. They find plenty of adventure, there is fun and excitement all the way through.
