Another Freddy story -- and that is probably all the introduction it requires. But this one finds Freddy in a double role,- detective as usual (this time saving the Beans from an imposter)- and football hero, accepted by the community, who are used to him, but disputed violently by the opposing team, to whom he brings defeat. Fairly far fetched yarn, but the Freddy addicts are insatiable and uncritical.
