FORTY-FIVE MINUTES PAST EIGHT

The Sun's columnist writes of the past twenty years in theatre and of people he has known. The result is a landslide of famous names, show people, theatrical directors, producers, actors, actresses, writers, bars, hangouts, and so on, with little in the line of amplification and only an occasional anecdote. A list, of who was where and when. Morehouse came from Atlanta to New York; he has had his department Broadway After Dark in the Sun since 1925. He's been everywhere. He knows everyone. He discusses First Nights with authority, the Critics' Circle and its members. But it's very local in appeal, flash in the pan, straight journalese.
