DEATH OUT OF FOCUS

Steve Leander, director for Harry Bergdahl's new picture, is privy to the fact that Bergdahl- who is insolvent- has taken out insurance on his unknown lead, Jameson, and with Jameson's accidental -coincidental death has reasons to suspect only Bergdahl. Steve, needled by his wife nagged by his own moral dilemma, uses his head- mostly his nose- to identify the killer.... Brassy but brisk.
