A retrospective collection of nonsense rhymes, updating Smith's 1955 collection of the same name with entries that have been published since. Included are limericks, a complete alphabet from ""Alpaca"" to ""Zebu"" (all cleverly represented by Krahn), a section of animal rhymes, and a familiar sampling of Smith's seemingly idle nonsense. His is not the sort of humor to evoke gales of laughter, but the animal rhymes and others are worth renewed acquaintance, and it's hard to imagine more suitable accompaniment than Krahn's offhand, offbeat drawings.
